Dinner place : Fish la Boissonnerie

Monday, November 21, 2011

It was my friend's birthday and we had dinner here. Good thing we booked in advance, because during the ten minutes I was standing outside the restaurant waiting for the girls to arrive, four couples went in and half of them came out. It was packed. It's always packed. The couples that could not get seats and couldn't wait, went across the street to Cosi, which is also very nice. I don't think they are sister restaurants, but they both have the same house Cosi breads.

These are the Cosi breads. So nice !

The dinner menu.

We had both red and dessert wines. It was a special night, after all :) The owners of the restaurant also own a wine shop La Dernière Goutte that's just round the corner.

Pumpkin soup.

Beef carpaccio

Fish, of course !

This is what I had. Scallops risotto. So nice !

How cute is this? They have little fish on the wine glasses.

There is even a tribute to the former Italian restaurant that used to be before the current one. Sara in serious talking mode, lol.

Dessert time! Rhubarb crumbles.

Chocolate cake with ice cream.

Cheese and salad.

Very satisfying meal, helpful waitress. Lovely night !
