Random reflections

There are hardly any rubbish bins on the streets of Seoul.  It is surprisingly common to have to carry around a piece of wrapper for ever trying to locate the nearest one. The due cause being that the Koreans are obsessed with recycling and if there are general bins about that is that much less recycling being done. Ah..
On my way home one night, a beautifully pink sky.
No thank you nor pardon me, just push, push, get out of the way. Koreans on the metro.
Actually, no bless you after sneezing, either, in the Korean language. Just ignore.
Almost suffocated this morning on the metro, wedged in between two grown men, standing between them in the stifling heat. Reaching only to their armpits. Ah, my luck. Where is the air conditioning? Cannot breathe, claustrophobic attack. Hold on!! Trying my hardest not to lose it. At eight in the morning. A start of a long long day.
Have yet to find in Korea: good dark chocolate; good bread that is not so soft and white.
