Seoul 3: TH

Seoul is a big city with so many places to go and things to do and see and eat! Since my Seoul experiences are not wholly representative of all that is on offer here, I've asked a few friends about their Seoul. Here are three random things Seoul means to them, be it everyday or on special outings. Let's check them out!

My little cousin TH prefers the Gwanghwamun area in Seoul. I'm not really sure what the attraction is about, because I haven't really been, but apparently there are many little cafes there. He wasn't the only one who likes the Gwanghwamun, you see.

As a recent high school graduate, his favourite place to hang out with his mates is the COEX mall, which is a huge mall that is always full of people, and a major tourist spot, too. Many exhibitions are held here, and there's an aquarium, and a cinema complex as well. It's the kind of place many people try to avoid, because of the crowd. But hey, when you are young, that doesn't really matter, right?

And what does he like to eat? Gukdae ddukbokki. What is that, you say? National level ddukbokki, which is made from flour as opposed to rice dduk. I recently ate at their Gangnam branch, and basically it's ddukbokki like they used to have in the old days. It was interesting but was glad to have tried it finally. I still very much prefer my Jaws dukbokki place, though.
